Following a series of meetings in late 1961, Tuesday 16th September at the Howick Bowling Club Pavilion, organised by the then Lions Club of Pakuranga on the 24th October a resolution was passed; that a Lions Club be formed in the Howick District.
How does one do justice to all those good people past and present who have contributed to in so many ways over so many years of their time and talents? The next few pages are a record of just some of our highlights which reflect the culture of fun, fellowship and community service enjoyed by our members.
